Misery by Stephen King

Things I Understand

  • Paul was looking for his wallet but Annie Wilks wouldn't give it to him and told him that it was in safe keepings.
  • Something seems very mysterious about Annie and Paul Sheldon understands that.
  • Also they were very far away from town. (Annie's house was very far)
  • Annie Wilks tells Paul that the most damaged part of his body from the accident was his legs.
  • Annie Wilkes like all of his Misery books a lot and I think she read each of them a little too much.

Questions I Have

  • When is this lady going to release Paul Sheldon?
  • Does anyone actually go looking for Paul?
  • Would Paul still have drove in the huge snow storm if he knew it was coming?
  • Would she ever abandon Paul or kill him?

Unknown Words

  • Intravenously Pg. 16- through or within a vein.
  • Ruminated Pg. 20- to chew the cud, as a ruminant.\

In this part of the novel Annie Wilkes is just taking care of Paul Sheldon and showing him a few damaged parts of his body that he had suffered from the accident.
